Join Our First Competition Team

Come join Miss Andrea and Miss Allison and be a part of some great experiences & wonderful opportunities! There will be a weekly class on Saturday from 9:00am to 12:00pm. We will be holding auditions on September 25th at 9:00am. You will be placed accordingly and solos and duets will be at the discretion of the competition teachers.

In order to be on the team you MUST be at tryouts. Minimum age to participate is 9 years old. Please understand that although we would love everyone who attends tryouts to be on the team, that we have strict rules and regulations that play into who we pick to be on the team. If you do not make it this year please do not be discouraged but use this to work harder for the following year!

Tryouts will take place on September 25th at 9:00 am at the studio. Please be there on time and ready to start right away.

We are planning to attend 3 competitions this year. One will be instate and two will be out of state (New York area). You must be able to attend all of them to be on the team. Side note: each child that attends the competition must have one chaperone with them the entire time. We will have a sign out policy at the competitions that will be discussed further closer to the time and ask that you please abide by them as your child's safety is our first priority.

***There is a possibility of extra practices closer to comp time - this will be determined later on.***

If you are selected to be on the team, we need extreme commitment and dedication - therefore there will be no excused absences for sporting events (practices, games, team dinners, etc.). However, we do understand school functions (I.E science fair, concerts, plays/musicals.) and we also understand sickness and family emergencies. Communication is key!

If you play sports and want to be on the team we do need full commitment by you and we are not discouraging you from one or the other but in order to properly train you we need consistent attendance, therefore you will need to miss some practices and potentially some games. I know this is a lot of information to take in so please don’t hesitate to ask any questions! We understand that this may seem intense but this is for the more serious dancers as it is intense but I promise it is a lot of fun! We will be looking into all fundraisers to help with the additional expenses as we understand this can get pricey, if you have any ideas please let us know!
